Years of chronic back and leg pain brought Sandy to Pilates Body by Valentin in January 2013. She discovered that her pain was alleviated through the core strengthening and spinal mobilization exercises that are so fundamental to Pilates. After practicing Pilates for two years with former PBBV instructor, Joseph Lyons, she decided to further her Pilates education by taking Balanced Body Instructor Training classes at Turning Point Studios in Walnut Creek, CA. She is currently working towards completing her Mat Pilates certification. Sandy hopes that her love of Pilates and the benefits of a consistent Pilates practice will motivate you in your own fitness journey.
